PhotoIreland Festival 2013

The National Library’s Photographic Archive (NPA) celebrates its fourth year of collaborating with the PhotoIreland Festival. PhotoIreland Festival 2013 will focus on the current state of Photography in Ireland, with exhibitions and events in Dublin, Limerick, and Cork.

The currency and relevance of the medium of photography has generated a flourish of awards, residencies, educational programmes, publications and exhibitions in Ireland. Galleries as far away as Australia, Argentina, and China are increasingly displaying the work of Irish based photographers. The festival’s programme of activities will reflect on the exciting process that Photography is undergoing on the island.

PhotoIreland Festival is grant aided by The Arts Council of Ireland, and the Dublin City Council.
