Paul D'Arcy The Fourth Wall

Paul D’Arcy - Fourth Wall Exhibition

“All great art should strive for an exciting tension between visual appeal and interpretive possibility, a Paul D’Arcy painting achieves just this.” Peter Jordan, Art Critic

The twenty five paintings in this show concentrate on Paul D’Arcy’s never ending interest in the concept of different realities. “All of which exist within the same moment in time. Our openness to them is dependent on our own mind and awareness of our surroundings at any moment.”

Paul D’Arcy was born in Dublin , Ireland and spent his childhood in South Africa and Namibia. He has travelled extensively throughout Europe, India , Australia and New Zealand. For the past twenty years he has been working as a full time artist. He is a member of Visual Artists Ireland, was founder of the SOS National Exhibition and was a nominee for the Cothu 1999 awards and the ICF Awards 2007. He has exhibited extensively and his work can be found in many collections in Ireland and abroad .
