Mick Conneely Bouzouki Master Class
Mick's Master Class is suited to bouzouki players with a minimum of 2 years playing experience. Mick is one of the most respected bouzouki players of his generation. To date he has played & toured with many artists, most notably De Danann, Mary Bergin, Frankie Gavin, Mairtin O'Connor, Noel Hill & Tony Linnane, Tony MacMahon & Micho Russell, Matt Molloy, Kevin Crawford, Lúnasa, David Munnelly, Carl Hession, Niall Ó Callanáin, Jackie Daly, Svend Kjeldsen, and Michael McGoldrick to name only a few. In 2001 his debut solo album 'Selkie' was released to critical acclaim on the prestigious boutique trad label Cló Iar-Chonnacht and he has recorded on numerous albums to date. Mick is a member of legendary Irish music group De Danann (reformed in 2009). Along with Alec Finn of De Danann, Mick is a leading exponent of the 6-string Greek bouzouki in Irish traditional music.
Mick teaches fiddle and bouzouki classes at various festivals at home and abroad, for example: Willie Clancy Summer School in Miltown Malbay, Co.
