Marvels of Science: 'Books that changed the World’

Marvels of Science: Books that changed the world is an exhibition at Marsh’s Library in Dublin. It showcases more than 70 rare and important scientific texts produced across Ireland and Europe over the course of the Scientific Revolution. The exhibition runs from June 2012 to June 2013.

In order to welcome the ESOF delegates to Dublin, we display some early scientific texts which are so rare that it was not possible to display them in the exhibition. How would you like, for instance, to see a first edition of Isaac Newton’s Principia Mathematica in its original binding?

Link for more info: www.marshlibrary.ie

Ticketed: The Library charges an entry fee of €2.50 (and €1.50 for concessions) to the exhibition. There is no extra charge for the 11.00 am and 3pm showings in the Seminar Room, but places at each session are limited to 30, and admittance will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
