Live at The Iveagh Gardens 2013

The Iveagh Gardens is quite simply the best open-air location for live music in the city – easily accessible and hugely inspiring.

Often referred to as Dublin City’s “hidden treasure” or “best kept secret” the Iveagh Gardens is a beautifully designed public park tucked in between the busy Harcourt Street thoroughfare and the National Concert Hall. Its mid-19th century landscape design includes many exquisite features including fountains, cascade, rustic grotto, rosarium, rockeries, hedgerow maze, sundial and archery pit. All combined with an array of exotic tree ferns and shrubbery, it was become an important sanctuary within a busy city for those who know about it.

In recent years Iveagh Gardens opened its gates to live entertainment with the hugely successful Vodafone Comedy Festival becoming an annual fixture and live music events featuring Tori Amos, the Waterboys, Josh Ritter, Rufus Wainwright and more.

This year, Aiken Promotions presents a grand total of eight concerts with the programming ranging from distinguished Irish performers such as Glen Hansard and Imelda May to trailblazing international bands from the Harmonic stable such as Beach House and Grizzly Bear. Each show will have a carefully considered support line-up of key up and coming artists from Ireland and beyond. Keep an eye on listings for new additions over the coming weeks.

This year, we have also pleased to announce of special value ticket bundle deals for music fans hoping to attend multiple concerts throughout the series.
