Is there a doctor in your family tree? As part of our contribution to The Gathering, we are hosting a series of lunchtime lectures on different aspects of Irish family history research in July and August 2013. Lectures will take place in the Seminar Room at 1pm and will last approximately 30 minutes Attendance is Free, no booking required just drop in on the day.
On Thursday 11 July Harriet Wheelock, of RCPI will give a talk entitled
Is there a doctor in your house? Family history records in the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland.
Harriet has been employed as RCPI’s archivist since 2010. Prior to RCPI, Harriet worked in the National Library of Ireland and the Old Library, Trinity College Dublin. Harriet has a Degree in History from Trinity College Dublin, a Masters in Historical Research from Lancaster University and Masters in Archives and Records Management from University College Dublin.
This gathering is for anyone with an interest in Genealogy. We expect to see Irish people and tourists attend.
