Lectures will take place in the Seminar Room at 1pm and will last approximately 30 minutes Attendance is Free, no booking required just drop in on the day.

On Wednesday 21 August join Elizabeth Craven & Margaret Bonar, from the Old Killester Society for a talk entitled “Homes for Heroes" Irish Sailors and Soldiers Land Trust
Margaret Bonar and Elizabeth Craven both have a Certificate & Diploma in Family History/Genealogy from UCD. They were also volunteers at the National Library Genealogy Service for nine months. Margaret has an MA in the History of the Family from the University of Limerick and a Certificate in Family History Research from Boston University. She also teaches at the Donahies Community School, Dublin. Elizabeth last year obtained the Certificate in Local History from NUI Maynooth. Research for these projects was carried out in United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. They are founder members of the Old Killester Society, Dublin.
