The Guinness Storehouse, Ireland’s number one international visitor attraction, will celebrate Arthur’s Day this year on Thursday 27 September, by offering lucky visitors ‘once in a lifetime’ upgraded experiences on the day.

Special experiences include the opportunity to learn the craft of pouring the perfect pint with Guinness Master Brewer, Fergal Murray; get a rare glance ‘behind the gates’ on a guided tour of the St. James’s Gate Brewery or an intimate Afternoon Tea in the house where Arthur Guinness lived in the 1700’s.

Lucky visitors will also have the chance to enjoy a pint of Guinness with a member of the famous Guinness family and hear firsthand about the family’s history and legacy.

Tasty Guinness inspired canapés created by the Guinness Storehouse head chef, Justin O’Connor, and his team will be on offer throughout the day and guests can savour a free pint of the black stuff in the sky high Gravity Bar, over-looking Dublin city at the end of their tour.

The Guinness Storehouse will open as usual at 9.30am with last admission at 5pm.  Adult admission is €16.50 with a 10% discount and fast track admission available for tickets purchased online at www.guinness-storehouse.com.  Only visitors aged 18 or over are eligible to receive upgraded experiences on Arthur’s Day and further details are also available on the attraction’s website.
