Gulliver's Travels

In this new staging of the classic novel, Swift himself takes us on a journey with Gulliver as he travels through four strange lands; encountering liliputians, giants, warmongering scientists and a race of horses that govern over a class of base human creatures called yahoos.

The epic story is realised with imaginative and physical storytelling by the cast of 16 young performers, accompanied – live on stage – by Swift’s 18th Century contemporary, George Frideric Handel with his baroque scratch orchestra.

Not simply a family story, this adaptation brings the exhilarating mix of pure adventure and biting political satire of the original novel to vivid life.

The show will be performed by the cast of the National Youth Theatre.
