Dublin Water Safety Surf Open Day 2013

There will be demonstrations, novice events and competitions, and giveaways on the day. Dublin Lifesaving Team will be showcasing the Surf Lifesaving, which incorporates lifesaving skills in race formats. There will be demonstrations of the sport on rescue race boards and ski's.Then a taster session for anyone to join in and try it out.  We will have a DJ playing music throughout the day keeping the spirits high. 

Anyone can come along who are interested, amateurs and novices encouraged to come along and participate and bring your friends. 
Aged from 8 years old and up.

Irish Water Safety will be present on the day educating the public on safety at waterways and will have their rescue boats out in Killiney giving people trips around the bay.

Try some other water sports like Kayaking, Surfing and Stand-Up Paddle-boarding (SUP) with thanks to Great Outdoors, Billabong and Red Paddle Co. who will be out on the day also. 

There will be spot prizes and giveaways on the day for anyone who participates.
