This year will mark the 41st Duathlon in the Phoenix Park, running now for 10th years the duathlon is a fun but competitive event, catering for all levels. The Phoenix Park, based in Dublin City lies on 707 hectares, the duathlon course lets you run and cycle on this historic landscape of international importance, noted to be one of the largest designed landscapes in any European city.
It was originally established as a Royal deer park in the 17th century and now is home to the Dublin City Duathlon Series. Dublin Duathlon is part of a four race series; all happening in the same location on the first Wednesday of the month in May, June, July and August. Distances: 2.7km run, 13km cycle, 2.7km run.
