Fishamble, CoisCéim Dance and Crash Ensemble, three companies representing the best of their fields come together in what promises to be a very special night of dance, music and theatre. All three companies are dedicated to creating and presenting new work within their respective fields. Culture Night 2012 at the Civic Theatre offers audiences an opportunity to enjoy a flavour of this work in: The Wheelchair on my Face, written and performed by Sonya Kelly for Fishamble; a sequence from Pageant a new show to be performed and toured by CoisCéim in 2013; Music in Similar Motion by Philip Glass, celebrating the composer’s 75th birthday, performed by Kate Ellis of Crash Ensemble.
