Irish and Finnish Male voice Choirs entertain!
Winners of the Navan Choral Festival, Ballinteer Male Voice Choir were formed in 1994; it has an active membership of 30. Its musical director is Mr Ray Ryan and its accompanist is Mr Graham Walsh. In May, the choir won the Navan Choral Festival's male voice choir competition for the third time. It is currently preparing for the Third Ballinteer International Male Voice Choir Festival on Saturday 25th May 2013 in St John the Evangelist Church, Ballinteer, when it looks forward to welcoming Coro La Martinella from Florence and Le Choeur d’Hommes d’Anjou from France. Tonight’s concert is Ballinteer Male Voice Choir’s debut in the Mill Theatre, and it is delighted to be joined by its special guests from Finland, Coro Finlandia, under its musical director Mr Rolf Kalle.
