A New Day

A sparkling comedy of generational confusion!
By Gerard Lee
Directed by Bairbre Ní Chaoimh
Starring Charlotte Bradley (Veronica Guerin), Anthony Brophy (The Tudors) and Kate Stanley Brennan (The Tudors, Raw)

After an acrimonious separation, Susan has downsized, de-cluttered and wiped her emotional slate clean. Now she is determined to make up for lost time and an encounter with an unlikely stranger sets her heart aflutter.
Meanwhile, her daughter, Dee, just starting college, is having separation anxiety from her doting Mother and is appalled to discover that she may no longer be the centre of her universe.
But Dee’s feathers get really ruffled when she suspects that her newly liberated Mam has installed a cuckoo in the nest.
A fresh start is good, but you can’t de-clutter a daughter, can you?

Mon-Sat at 1pm (doors open at 12.50pm)
Tickets: Low-price Mondays €8, Tues – Thurs €10, Fri – Sat €12.
Light Lunch available €4.
