Located close to Temple Bar, Werburgh's Church will be open for a special Christmas event called a Christmas evening with Noel O'Grady and friends.

Noel will perform his Annual Christmas Evening of Song, Poetry, and Story, in the beautiful, historic St. Werbergh’s Church. Founded in 1178, it’s close to Christ Church Cathedral, and still in use as a church.

Lord Edward Fitzgerald, executed for his leadership part in the 1798 Rebellion, is buried within its vaults. Composer, pianist, John Field, and author Jonathan Swift, both born nearby, were baptised in St. Werbergh’s.

To ensure entry to this Evening of Enchantment, Far from the Madding Crowd, early booking is advised. There will be a 15 minute interval when you can savour this very special, hallowed space.'The words and music of love at their most enchantingly beautiful' – Brendan Kennelly. (www.noelogrady.com)

Location: Saint Werburgh's Church, Werburgh Street, Dublin 2, Ireland

The church is located in Werburgh Street, opposite of Leo Burdock's Fish and Chips.
