25 Years of the Comedy Cellar
Celebrate 25 years of the Comedy Cellar with 25 Comics for 25 Euro!
Ireland's legendary Comedy Cellar opened its door on Feb 1988 and is like an analogy that doesn't know when to stop. Mr Trellis (Kevin Gildea, Barry Murphy, Ardal O'Hanlon), Dermot Carmody, Karl McDermott and Gerry Brett set it up and it's been running continuously ever since, home to generation after generation of new comics. Its influence has spread like a really enjoyable plague. The Comedy Cellar is the Big Bang of Irish Comedy so why not get in your space rocket and come along and see a galaxy of Irish stars in Vicar Street on Sept 13th.
See the cream of Irish comedy - Tommy Tiernan, Jason Byrne, David O'Doherty, Neil Delamere, Barry Murphy and PJ Gallagher perform - along with another 30 or so comics (that's 25 plus 331/3% Extra free!)
This is a once in a lifetime chance to see this many Irish comics on stage at the same time.
All proceeds will go to the Peter McVerry Trust which does vital work supporting young homeless people to break the cycle of homelessness and move towards independent living through the provision of a continuum of care services.
