CANO's guitar recital, "Seis cuerdas" (‘six strings’ in Spanish), will transport you to Spain for the evening. In the very atmospherical Boys’ School, you will feel the raw emotion of CANO's playing. Juan Antonio Suárez, "CANO", is one of the most interesting Flamenco guitarists of his time. His sound is very personal and recognisable. Since being invited by Gerardo Nuñez to represent a generation of new Flamenco guitarists as he started out, his evolution has been constant. CANO has composed for and accompanied the biggest Flamenco stars of dance and song and appears in the cast of the latest Carlos Saura movie, "Flamenco, Flamenco.”
He has released two albums to date and is working on a new album. He is also the guitarist behind the release of a live CD and DVD with singer Diana Navarro, "Flamenco,” which was awarded a Gold Disc in Spain.
