Following his sell out Shows in 2010, ROD STEWART has confirmed he will return to Ireland in 2013 to play the RDS Arena Dublin on Saturday 29 June as part of his ‘Live The Life’ Tour. 

During Rod Stewart’s iconic five decade-long career, he has sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, scored countless hits, earned 18 Grammy nominations – winning one for ‘Stardust - The Great American Songbook: Volume III’ – and in 2007 was bestowed the prestigious CBE title by the Queen.
A two-time US Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee, Rod first made himself heard in the early 60’s with Long John Baldry, Steampacket and Shotgun Express, as well as his seminal work with Jeff Beck and the Faces.

He found his solo voice with a string of classic albums: ‘An Old Raincoat Will Never Let You Down’, ‘Every Picture Tells A Story’, ‘Never A Dull Moment’ right through to ‘Atlantic Crossing’, ‘A Night on The Town’ and ‘Blondes Have More Fun’, and went on to record five acclaimed volumes of his ‘Great American Songbook’ series.

His long-awaited memoir, Rod – The Autobiography, has just been released by Random House and is already topping bestseller lists around the world.  His first ever Christmas Album will be released by Universal Decca on 16 November and includes duets with Michael Bublé, Mary J Blige and Cee Lo Green.
