Reform and Rebellion: Irish Nationalist Women, 1912-1918

BiblioFiles Lecture

Join us on the eve of International Women’s Day for a discussion led by Dr Senia Paseta, University of Oxford, on Ireland’s women revolutionaries. All welcome. No booking required.

This talk is part of a monthly lecture series called BiblioFiles. The series provides a platform for writers, academics and others who have used the NLI's facilities to talk about their research and other work they have carried out at the library.

Senia Paseta is Junior Research Fellow at Merton College, Oxford. She was awarded the prestigious 'J.G. Crawford Prize for Academic Excellence' from the Australian National University in 1995. Her Books include 'Modern Ireland', 'Ireland and the Great War', 'Before the Revolution: Nationalism, Social Change'  'Ireland’s Catholic Elite, 1879 – 1922' and 'Thomas Kettle '.

Many of our events are free. If you would like this to continue, you can support our Events Programme by making a donation. Donation boxes are located throughout the NLI buildings.
