Mid-term break children's workshop Kitchen science (5 – 8yrs)

Mid-term break children's event

During the autumn mid term break we are hosting practical science children’s workshops in association with Anyone 4 Science. The workshops are based around some of the themes covered in our Particles of the Past exhibition and also celebrate Dublin City of Science 2012.

Kitchen science (5 – 8yrs)

Pomology is the study of fruit, in this workshop learn about the life cycle of plants, what biologists classify as fruits and why. Fruits are subdivided into different groups. Everyone will get the chance to experiment with and dissect different fruit and then classify them.

Please note: It is important that the parents should notify us of any allergies prior to their child attending this workshop.
