Established in 1798, Johnnie Fox's Pub is not only one of the oldest pubs but is also famed as the "Highest pub in Ireland" as it is seated in Glencullen with splendid scenery all around at every viewpoint.

(Only 5 minutes from the M50 (Junction 15) and 10 minutes from the picturesque town of Enniskerry in Co Wicklow and 20 minutes from the shopping mecca of Dundrum.)

The award winning kitchens and multiple gold medals won by the chefs over the years places Johnnie Fox's on the list of culinary experiences when in Dublin, seafood is their speciality but of course Mountain steak, duck, chicken, pasta dishes etc all feature as do vegetarian dishes.

So why is this pub so famous? The sheer atmosphere of the pub with a stunning tranditional Irish music and dance show, now that really let's people know why it is a must for any visit to Dublin and why so many people do visit and return.

Johnnie Fox's is also famous as "The Keeper of the Flame" which rates the three natural fireplaces as the best in Ireland by Bord na Mona which works so well in this living museum of traditional Irish history. Is it anywonder that it is regularly voted to be on every visitors "Bucket List".
