DublinatChristmas.ie is calling on people far and wide to dig out their cheesiest Christmas jumper and join them for the Geansai Nollag challenge at 4pm on O’Connell Street on November the 25th to set a new world record for the most number of Christmas jumpers in the one place at the same time. So whether it’s a reindeer emblazoned monstrosity or a seriously synthetic little number from the 80s, Dublin Town needs YOU to get your jumper on and take part in fun event in aid of Foróige.
Last year a record number of 583 Geansaí wearers attended the celebration!! Help us beat it for a great cause! This is all part of the great activities planned for Dublin’s biggest Christmas tree lighting ceremony on O’Connell Street, with the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Naoise Ó Muirí.
To grab your Christmas jumper, visit Penneys, Arnotts, Deadly Xmas Jumpers on Duke Street, Funky Chrismas Jumpers and Donegal Shop in Stephen’s Shopping. There will be also a make-your-own-jumper stall where you can pimp your own Christmas jumper!
