OPEN NIGHTS AT DUBLIN’S TOP MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES
Dublin left its lights on for one night only on the 20th of September as galleries, music and art studios, museums, churches and historic buildings all over the city opened their doors for Culture Night.
As part of Dublin Culture Night, you could do everything from exploring moonlit cathedrals to trying your hand at screen printing in the Black Church Print Studio.
You could visit Dublin’s oldest socialist bookshop and visit the 66 seat theatre hidden in the back or do a bit of acting yourself with one hour drama courses in the Gaiety School of Acting.
But with over 200 different events to choose from, a bit of advance planning went a long way.
All events on the night from tours and talks, to live performances, were completely free, making this the perfect event for night owls and cash strapped travellers alike – the cultural side of Dublin was yours for the taking, for this one, very special night.
