Dun Laoghaire Cottage

Built in 1860, this tourist board approved mews/cottage is a unique gem located in a rural environment yet 20 minutes train ride from Dublin City Centre.

The property is adjacent to the owners premises (but is self-contained with its own entrance. It is only 300 meters to the Sandycove DART Train Station (which links with all provincial train and bus services), and a further 300 meters to the Sandycove Sea Front or to Glasthule Village. Dun Laoghaire Town Centre is only a five minute walk.

The cottage has a small secluded completely private patio which, in fine weather, becomes an extension of the lounge. Furnishing include gas central heating, TV/DVD, radio, microwave, washing machine and hairdryer. Bed linen and towels are changed weekly. The Cottage sleeps four persons in a studio design incorporating a twin bedroom and a double bed mezzanine loft in the lounge. It is maintained to a high standard of decoration and cleanliness.

This is an ideal base from which to work in the city, or for the holiday maker wishing to explore Dublin and its surroundings. Enjoy the numerous local amenities of Dun Laoghaire, such as the pubs, restaurants, theatre, cinema, Joyce Museum, swimming, sailing, windsurfing, sea angling, golf, horse riding and many scenic walks including the Harbour Piers of Dun Laoghaire, the Killiney and Dalkey Hills. For the more adventurous, there is excellent hill walking in the Dublin and Wicklow Hills, accessible by public transport.
