If you would like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life then look no further than Ireland's Eye. Located just a mile from the coast directly north of Howth Harbour, Ireland's Eye is a small uninhabited Island which is easily reached by regular tourist boats.The only signs of previous habiation on the island are the ruins of Martello Tower and an 8th Century Church.
The island is a santuary for all forms of wildlife with Guillemots, Razorbills, Shags, Gannets, Grey Seal and even Puffins among others to be found on this wonderful island.
