The name Rush is derived from the Irish Ros-Éo, meaning peninsula or promontory of the yew trees. Rush is a small seaside town. The North Beach is a sandy beach approximately 1 km in length.
Facilities:
There is a small public car park at the beach. There is also a small park and active fishing harbour to the southern end of the beach.
How to Get There:
The town is served by the No. 33 bus service from Dublin City Centre and the beach is approximately a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
