Killiney Beach has probably the best view of any beach in Dublin with Bray Head to the south and the salubrious Sorrento Terrace (where 5 bedroom houses fetch about 7 million Euro) to the north. In the mornings and evening you will see locals fishing from the water's edge.
Killiney beach is a stony beach about 800m in length. The beach is sheltered and suitable for bathing and swimming. The beach drops off dramatically, so you don't have to wade out for miles to get a good dip. The beach can be accessed from the car park – limited parking – or by bus or dart.
