The Seamus Ennis Arts Centre

The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre, Naul, Co Dublin, is a multi-disciplinary Arts Centre which aims to develop and maintain Arts and Cultural activities in rural Fingal. The Centre was officially opened on October 2001 to celebrate the memory of Master Uilleann piper, storyteller and folklorist Séamus Ennis, who spent much of his life in the area. Located in North County Dublin, an area known as Fingal, the SEAC is just 30 minutes from the City Centre and 10 minutes from Balbriggan and Swords. The SEAC runs year round activities including Concerts, Traditional Irish Music Sessions, Cinema screenings, Music Tuition, Craft Workshops for children and adults.

Adjacent to the Centre is the Cottage Café, serving freshly prepared, home cooked food 7 days a week, 10am to 5pm. The Café operates late opening in conjunction with all SEAC events, serving a range of evening meals with an extensive wine menu.

Regular events in the SEAC include Slow Session and Junior Slow Sessions for musicians who wish to take part in a relaxed, informal Traditional Music Session, as well as Sunday sessions where all musicians and listeners are welcome. Concerts run regularly with an eclectic programme of renowned Irish and International artists, with a strong emphasis on traditional and folk music, and Art lovers are catered to with the Easter Snow Gallery hosting regular exhibitions of the region’s best artists, free to the public. The programme changes regularly, and can be viewed on the website, www.seamusenniscentre.com
