Trails & Tales

Trails and Tales Dublin Mountain Guided Walks.

Trails & Tales offer bespoke short cultural walking tours of the Dublin Mountains with magnificent views over Dublin City and Bay. Our aim is to make our walks easily accessible and an authentic local experience, in a fun and relaxed environment.

Our Dublin Mountain Cultural Walks are suitable for all regardless of age or fitness level, so, whether you are on a city visit to Dublin for a fun time, or cultural experience (or even both), then this is ideal way to explore the countryside on your Dublin City visit.

Guests are guided along ancient pathways through quiet valleys, mountains, bog lands and lakes and enjoy stories, sagas and myths of the past times. Walks are led by a local guide whose family has been living in the area since the 1700’s.

Flexibility is key for the busy traveler and we can tailor our tour to suit your needs. Most walks of up to 2 ½- 3 ½ hours, but shorter walks can be arranged. We are available throughout the year and no specialist walking gear is required.

We take the stress out of arranging this lovely walk in the Dublin Mountains and you also get to mingle with Dubliners. We collect from nearby LUAS (Dublin's tram system) stop either Red Cow on Red line or Stillorgan (Green line). Meeting point can be arranged at point of booking via our website. All tours usually start at 11am must be pre booked.
