Templeogue is located 6 km from Dublin’s City centre.
At the centre of Templeogue village is the Morgue Public House and Restaurant; it is one of Dublin’s oldest pubs, first licensed in 1848. The Morgue name originated from the practice of bringing corpses of people killed on the Dublin to Blessington Stream Tramway to the pub where inquests were held. Also Templeogue is home to Dodder Valley Park where many different flora and fauna can be found.
