One of the country's eminent kayaking instructors, Kayaking.ie offers a wide variety of kayaking classes and tours in the Dublin area, all of which are sure to satiate your appetite for adventure. Tours take place in Dalkey and Lucan throughout the year. Why not take a morning or afternoon jaunt to Dalkey Island, where one can become acquainted with the seals and other marine life in the area? Or navigate the famous Strawberry Beds on the Liffey? And should kayaking happen to scratch an itch you did not know previously existed, there are a number of courses on offer to improve your kayaking skills. We run tours from the picturesque village of Dalkey, Co.Dublin where you can come and kayak with the seals and experience the spectacular secenery of the South Dublin Coastline with views of the Dublin Mountains. We provide all of the gear and equipment so you can quite easily get the DART from Dublin to come kayaking with us. After kayaking you can wander into the village of Dalkey where you can sample some great food in any one of the many restaurants and cafes.

We also run river tours on the famour River Liffey at Lucan which is a mere 25 minutes by bus from Dublin City Centre. Here you can experience the hidden world of Dublin's Strawberry beds. You can slide down a weir and kayak under Shackeleton's mill which belonged to the family of the famous explorer Ernest Shackleton.
