Dalymount Park - Bohemian FC
Dating back to 1890, the Bohemian Football Club (aka Bohemians or The Bohs) are one of the oldest football clubs in Ireland. Originally playing their home games in the Phoenix Park, the club moved to their now famous home on September 7th 1901 when 5000 spectators witnessed The Bohs come out 4-2 winners against Shelbourne FC. To this very day Dalymount Park is still home for the club and after visiting, you will see why.
Located in the heart of Dublin's northside, the ground sits behind rows of terraced red brick houses and would be quite difficult to find if it wasn't for the soaring floodlights. Bohemian FC compete in the League of Ireland Premier Divison, the top tier of Irish Football. Matches take place on Friday nights with the odd exception here and there. A full list of this season's fixtures can be found on the club's website, www.bohemianfc.com. The modern Jodi Stand has 3 bars underneath wihich open 90minutes prior to kick off.
If you're planning a visit, why not get in touch with the club's Liaison Officer Mark Cummins (email@example.com) who will be happy to provide details of upcoming fixtures and who also hosts prematch complimentary tours of the ground, incorporating the club's rich history.
