Clondalkin Leisure Centre

Clondalkin Leisure Centre is managed by South County Dublin Leisure Services Limited on behalf of South Dublin County Council.

Swimming Pool
Our fantastic new swimming pool is 25 metres in length and 17 metres wide (8 lanes).

The pool is solar heated and has a moveable boom so that it can be divided into two sections, thus accommodating more than one activity at the same time. Also, the floor of the pool, on one side of the boom, can be raised so as to cater for a variety of age groups - great for small kids.

Fitness Studio
Our new gym facility boasts:

-10 crosstrainers
-10 treadmills
-Recumbant bikes
-Normal bikes
-Rowers
-Weight machines
-A free weight section
-A versitile cable pully machine
-A smith machine

Sports Hall
The Centre's sports hall measures a generous 40 metres x 20 metres and is available to individuals and groups for a wide range of activities.

The hall caters to the needs of people of all ages and sporting abilities. Sports played include: Indoor Football (plenty of room for 6-A-side), Basketball, Badminton, Gymnastics, Volleyball, Rock Climbing, Archery, and Netball. Other activities include School Visits, Children's Camps, Birthday Parties and special events.

Many sports / activities using the hall are organised by clubs or associations. Contact the Centre for details of your favourite activity.

Hire rates vary according to use and time of day.

All Weather Pitches - Third Generation Floodlight

There are four all-weather pitches at the Centre - each measuring 40 metres x 25 metres which cater for 5 or 6 a-side games, tennis and a wide variety of pitch based activities.

Outdoor Pursuits
The County Dublin Outdoor Education Centre was opened in 1992 to provide adventure sports for youth groups, schools, colleges and the general public.

Courses run by the Centre are tailored to suit a wide range of needs, from the complete beginner to the more experienced practitioner.

County Dublin Outdoor Education Centre offers fully qualified instructors with state of the art equipment.

You can experience and learn a variety of water based and land based activities in a safe and fun environment.
