The Grand Social

Social? Yes. Grand? Better than that. The Grand Social greets you as you come off the Ha’Penny Bridge from Temple Bar, like an oasis of normality. Downstairs is set up like a jazz bar that Holden Caulfield would try and blag his way into but find your way upstairs, through the corridors and cement walled maze to reveal another bar, one set up for live music or simply chats and giggles in the smoking area. It’s also home to the Ha’Penny Flea market on Saturday and one of the city’s finest music jams ‘Saucy Sundays’. Having recently acquired a former woolen mills shop next door, we can expect even more grandiose plans to be in store for our pleasure.
