Church, (The) Cafe, Bar, Restaurant, Nightclub & Attraction
Each year over 600,000 visitors come to mingle with the local Dubliners to appreciate the art, history, architecture and luxury of this magnificent building. It's also seen its moments of glory...Arthur Guinness got married here, Sean O'Casey was baptised here, and Handel used to practice on the organ. Is that enough historically significant enough for ya?! It has been sensitively restored, and the decor transports you into an old-time movie, so it's always a treat to dress up for a night out there. You can enjoy a meal at The Gallery restaurant with its breathtaking views, or the Church Bar has the perfect low lighting for early evening drinks. Very flattering altogether...
Enjoy coffee, drinks, great Irish food and traditional Irish Music beneath the beautiful stained glass window and the original Renatus Harris built organ (once played by Handel) or visit the burial crypts in the basement to realise why The Church has established itself as a 'must see' for visitors to the city centre.
