Experience Gaelic Games

If you are not lucky enough (or connected enough) to experience Gaelic games live in the cauldron that is Croke Park, don’t fear, all is not lost. Experience Gaelic Games offers the fast paced thrill of hurling and the sheer skill of football to groups as small as five people. Don’t try and understand the rules just yet, it’s all about teamwork and learning the basics are you wield your hurley and hand-pass the sliothar to the next person. And if you aren’t so good at it, don’t worry, you can also try some Ceilí dancing and Bodhrán playing to ensure that you won’t let your school, your family or your county down.

A Unique Irish Experience

The Gaelic Games of Hurling and Football are the most popular sports in Ireland designed for both male and female games. Top level gaelic games regularly attract crowds in excess of 50,000.
Experience Gaelic Games (EGG) provides visitors with a unique interactive Irish cultural experience.
The Experience offers visitors an opportunity to learn and practice the basic techniques and skills of Gaelic Games in a fun and interactive way in a structured setting.

Experience gaelic games opens up an aspect of Irish culture that is deeply embedded in the Irish psyche, that is inherent in modern Irish daily life and which is uniquely Irish.

The experience promotes a greater understanding of the uniqueness of our ancient games and an insight into the importance of GAA activities in modern Irish cultural life.

Not just for boys - our sessions cater for all genders, age groups and sporting skill levels. The emphasis is on fun and the participation for all guests.
