Once the stylish modern bar SoSume, the bar was snapped up in 2004 and redesigned with stylish Asian décor, elaborate chandeliers, exotic artwork, funky mosaics, lush red velvet curtains and walls ordained with blues roses to create The Dragon.
The bar's Georgian façade is little indication of the stunning extravagance inside that leads to a long bar facing a line of intimate booths and a mezzanine overlooking the dance floor, where an array of the hottest names in the Dance scene keeping the dance anthems pumping throughout the week.
The Dragon serves an extensive range of imported beers, a menu of classic and exotic cocktails and a fine selection of wines, and the bar also sports a spacious smoking terrace for smokers.
The exiting array of events happening in The Dragon include Dolly does Dragon! on Mondays, Glam on Tuesdays, DJ Mo on Thursdays, DJ Paddy Scahill on Fridays and DJ Karen on Saturdays.
