Guests can choose to sit in the front lounge area on the multi-coloured custom made couches or by the heart-shaped fireplace right beside the bar, with a large moose head keeping an eye on you from above. It’s a luxurious and stylish retreat, both richly furnished and dimly lit. The bar stocks a hand-picked selection of 37 Irish Whiskeys, each served into a sparkling crystal glass, usually by the expert hands of Ron, the in-house whiskey enthusiast. Sit back, relax and sip your favourite brand of whiskey; neat, on the rocks or couple it with a refreshing mixer, to the sounds of our baby grand piano or funky background tunes.The bar can be accessed from the main entrance or you can sneak into it from Anne’s Lane at the rear of the building, just look for the sign that says “Whiskey”.
The restaurant at 37 Dawson Street is located on the 2nd floor and has its own private bar. It exuberates an air of elegance with its abundance of embellishments manifested in the various design aspects, ranging from the furniture to the walls that are home to numerous works of original art. It is a substantially sized eatery that is ideal for every occasion, whether it is a quick bite to eat or a celebratory event. At 37 Dawson Street we serve good, honest food featuring the finest locally sourced ingredients from the most highly regarded butchers, bakers, grocers and fishmongers. We offer three menus; Dinner, Bar Food and Brunch, with each demonstrating a quirky take on the traditional classics. 37 Dawson Street is open late until 2.30am from Tuesday to Saturday and the restaurant is open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday, from 5pm until late.
Bar Food is served Monday to Friday from 4-8pm and on Saturday from 12-8pm. There is also a brunch menu available every Sunday, served from 12 noon until 5pm.
